We are a Danish design company called Twelve Inch IVS owned by Kim Holberg Andersen. Our office is based in Denmark on the following address:

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect following personal data about our visitors using the site: name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information and shipping tracking numbers; and technical data, such as information about cookies. Personal data is not only generated by your interaction with the site, but can be generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third party embeds as well.

We collect these kind of personal data in order to be able to process payments, ship our products to the right customer, provide quality customer support; such as contacting customers by phone or email to correct or delete any information that has been incorrectly or mistakingly entered in to our system, inform about order status or process order returns. We also collect your personal data to be able to inform you, if your personal data has been stolen in a breach.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Akismet (anti spam-comment software)
We collect information about visitors who comment on our site that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

On our Contact Us page, we have provided a contact form you may choose to use, which is developed by Artbees (https://artbees.net/about/). This contact form will collect your name and email address. Please note that we keep contact form submissions for a 6 month period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Facebook Pixels to track and better understand our visitors behavior. This way we can optimize the performance of the website, to provide a better user experience, by analyzing such behavior as; how long our visitors use on each page, to determine if we can provide better content to the user, thus a better user experience; if customers find the information they are looking for; etc.

Who we share your data with and why

We use a Facebook Pixel on our site – which is an analytical tool – to track the behavior of the visitors on our site. The Facebook Pixel will collect the information you have uploaded to your facebook page, such as name, age, gender, interests, likes, etc. We use these information for marketing purposes.

We accept payments through QuickPay and PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal and QuickPay, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

We use a danish company called pakkelabels.dk to provide us with the best shipping prices and an automatic way of printing shipping labels. When an order is placed in our web-shop, we collect and hand over specific data about you to pakkelabels.dk, such as your name, address, email-address, phone number, depending on what information you enter as your shipping information. The track & trace number, which is unique to the customer, will be known to both us at Twelve Inch IVS and pakkelabels.dk.

How long we retain your data

We keep contact form entries for six months, analytics records for a year, and customer purchase records for ten years.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
