Just before Christmas a good friend of mine rang me up and asked me to come over, to take look at a record collection he just acquired. He bought this from a woman whos father had passed away. The father had been collecting all kind of stuff, including vinyl records.

But, the odd thing about this collection is that it is primarily german records – and we are in Denmark!

I am no expert on records, especially not on german records. But I was qurious, so I went to have a look. To my astonishment it was a collection of approx. 1500 LP’s and perhaps 500 Singles. A majority of the records was german party records and I was at first sight disappointed. But digging deeper in the collection I started to find some rare box sets, and most important, it did not seem that the records had been played at all. But the big question for us is, what to do with this?

Answer to this question is probably to find someone from Germany, who wants to take the collection back to Germany and find customers for it.

Her are some examples, which I took some photos of:

Here are some more photos I took of the many boxes full of records:

If you are interested to come and see the collection and make a bid for it, you are most welcome. Just send me and email on the email below, or give me a call, then we can arrange a meeting.

We did not make a list of the collection, as there are a lot of records and it would take a long time for us to do so. If you have questions you are welcome to contact me.
